Starting this Fall/Winter session changes have taken place on the NWF40. Tom Dolan who managed the NWF40 for the last 8 years is handing the management responsibilities over to Alex Botvinnik #21. Tom will move to sub in on the 40 while he helps to build out the 50 and over team. Owen Kennedy (#7) and Frank (Papa Chach #52) will move to sub as well, as they prepare to skate on the 50 and over team. Mike (Wolfy #11) Wolf and Bryan (Napes #16) Napier will move up to the NWF40 as full-time players. Kevin McKay #2 moves from sub to full-time on the 40. The NWF40 welcomes back Hall of Famer Duncan Fader #12 to the team. Dunc moved back to Chicago in the summer and has returned to the NWF40 team. WOW!

I am so proud of everyone that has contributed to the NWF40’s success. I had the most fun in my career playing hockey on the 40 with the greatest bunch of guys in the league. You all put out an amazing effort to get us all of our championships.
Special thanks to Les who had the guts to invite me into the NWF world in 1993 at the RMPD hockey managers meeting. Never wanted to play on any other team since then. Never left the NWF. I hope to keep it going with the NWF50. Join me.
