The NWF 40 player of the month is #47 Gary Mathews. Gary is an awesome addition to the very strong NWF 40 roster. Gary joined us in March of 2018 and has since helped us win several championships. Gary is a major contributor on defense and brings solid speed and skills to the team. Gary’s knowledge of the game along with his keen ability to read plays makes him a hard person to get around. To add to those skills, he can find the net on a regular basis. He is a huge offensive threat when he feels the situation is right. Gary plays great clean hockey. Gary is a quiet guy. You wouldn’t know how fierce a competitor he is just by talking to him. The team loves him, and he has proven his dedication to the team repeatedly each season. We are a stronger team with you Gary, Congratulations!
